Jimmi began his formal music training at the age of 5 on the piano.  He attended the Adams School of Music for the young musician in New Jersey.  At the age of 13 James began to play the Guitar and by 16 he was performing professionally.  James has recorded and released 9 albums and is currently working on his 10th.  He has performed locally for the past decade and toured throughout the United States.

Jimmi has been teaching group and private lessons since 1996 and has a strong background in music theory, improvisation and song writing.  James uses a method that is easy to understand, fun to learn and practical to use.  The approach is geared toward the individual and caters to your tastes and objectives.  Whether learning to read and write music or playing your favorite song each lesson is custom designed for your direction. 

I offer class, private and intensive lessons on acoustic, classical, electric & bass guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele and piano.  I teach many styles for musicians of all ages from 5 years old to seniors.

Private lessons meet weekly for 30-minutes and can start at any time.
Intensive lessons meet for one hour as needed and are great for busy adults & advanced players.
